What the 10 Days Are Designed to Accomplish

The Elaris 10-day intensive program is built around a single goal: equipping you with the understanding, skills, and support structure needed for sustainable recovery — without requiring months away from your responsibilities.

Unlike traditional residential programs that rely on extended isolation, our model concentrates evidence-based therapeutic work into an intensive 10-day format. Each day builds on the previous one, creating a progressive journey from assessment through skill development to real-world integration.

By the end of the program, you'll leave with: a clear understanding of your gambling patterns and triggers, practical tools for managing urges and emotions, a financial recovery plan, strategies for rebuilding trust, ongoing therapy appointments scheduled, and connection to a supportive alumni community that continues for a full year.

Day-by-Day Breakdown

Each day follows a structured curriculum designed to build skills progressively. While individual experiences vary, here's the general focus of each day.

What You Leave With

A detailed transition plan, scheduled follow-up appointments, and connection to your alumni community.

Note: This is a general outline. The program is personalized based on individual needs, and the sequence may be adjusted by your clinical team. Outcomes depend on individual circumstances and engagement.

Real-World Integration

One of the core differences of the Elaris program is our approach to technology and real-world access. Rather than removing you entirely from your environment, we teach you to navigate it safely.

Phone Access

You keep your phone throughout the program. On Day 1, gambling-blocking software is installed and configured. You learn to use your device safely rather than avoiding it entirely — because you'll need these skills when you return home.

Work Considerations

Many clients continue some remote work during the program when appropriate. We work with you to find a balance that supports both recovery and professional stability. The goal is reducing stress, not adding to it.

Trigger Exposure

Instead of complete isolation from triggers, you practice responding to them in a supported environment. This includes managing digital triggers, financial situations, and emotional states that have historically led to gambling.

Accountability Systems

You establish accountability structures during the program that continue after you leave: financial controls, technology monitoring, trusted support contacts, and regular check-in rhythms.

The Transition: Day 10 and the Week After

Day 10 is not an ending — it's a transition point. The program is designed so that support continues seamlessly as you return to your daily life.

Day 10

Final individual session with your clinician, completing your transition plan. Aftercare orientation ensures you know exactly what happens next. You're connected with your ongoing therapist and have your first follow-up appointment scheduled — typically within the first week home.

Days 11–14

First week home includes scheduled check-ins with your support team, access to the mobile app for daily check-ins and crisis tools, and your first post-program therapy session. Many clients describe this week as challenging but navigable with the structure in place.

Week 2+

You join your weekly alumni group sessions, connecting with your cohort and ongoing program participants. The rhythm of support — therapy, group, app check-ins, accountability — becomes your new normal.

1-Year Aftercare Structure

The 10-day intensive is just the beginning. All program participants receive one full year of structured aftercare at no additional cost.

Weekly Group Sessions

Multiple group sessions available each week, led by licensed clinicians and peer support specialists. Topics rotate through recovery fundamentals, relapse prevention, relationships, and identity development.

24/7 Mobile App

Daily check-ins, progress tracking, crisis tools, and direct messaging with support staff. The app keeps recovery tools in your pocket at all times.

Ongoing Accountability

Structured accountability partnerships, financial monitoring tools, and regular check-ins help maintain the momentum built during the intensive.

Is This Right for Me?

This program is designed for high-functioning professionals who need effective treatment without the disruption of extended residential care. It may be a good fit if you:

This program may fit if:

  • You're a working professional who can't disappear for 30–90 days
  • You value privacy and discretion in seeking treatment
  • You're motivated and ready to engage actively in recovery
  • You want to learn skills you can apply in your real environment
  • You don't require medical detox for substances

Traditional residential may be better if:

  • You need medical detox for alcohol or other substances
  • Your home environment is unsafe or includes active enablers
  • You've attempted intensive programs multiple times without success
  • You feel you need complete separation from your daily life

We're happy to help you think through which approach makes sense for your situation. If residential treatment is a better fit, we'll tell you honestly during your consultation.

Taking the First Step Privately

Reaching out is often the hardest part. We've designed our intake process with privacy in mind.

1

Initial Conversation

A confidential call with our admissions team. We'll answer your questions, learn about your situation, and help you determine if the program is a good fit. No pressure, no obligation.

2

Clinical Assessment

If you decide to move forward, a brief clinical assessment helps us understand your needs and prepare for your arrival. This can be done by phone or video.

3

Logistics Planning

We help coordinate travel, schedule your program dates, and prepare everything needed for a smooth arrival. Many clients describe this as surprisingly simple.

Calls are answered by our team — not a call center. We understand the sensitivity of this decision and treat every inquiry with discretion.
